    Mandatory PPE & machine guarding

    Helmets, safety shoes, hand protection, hearing protection and FR clothing are issued on day one. Press, shear and hot-work stations carry interlocked guarding and two-hand controls.

    Lock-out / tag-out

    All maintenance on forging hammers, plating lines and galvanizing kettles follows a written LOTO procedure. Energy sources are isolated and verified before any intervention.

    On-site occupational health

    Trained first-aiders on every shift, on-site occupational health centres at major plants, and annual medical check-ups for workers in noise, fume and chemical exposure zones.

    Emergency preparedness

    Quarterly fire and chemical-spill drills, mapped assembly points and trained Emergency Response Teams. Mock drills are documented and findings closed against a CAPA register.

    Near-misses, first-aid cases and unsafe conditions are logged into a central EHS register. Root-cause analysis and corrective actions are reviewed monthly by plant leadership.

ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT

Metals manufacturing has a real environmental footprint. Our job is to measure it, treat it on-site, and report it transparently — to regulators, to OEM customers, and to independent raters like EcoVadis.

    Multi-stage physico-chemical ETPs on every plating, pickling and powder-coating line — treated water is reused in cooling, scrubbers and floor wash before any discharge.

    Zero Liquid Discharge design

    Galvanizing and electroplating facilities are engineered for ZLD — combining ETP, reverse osmosis and evaporator stages so process water leaves the site only as solids.

  • [APC]

    Air pollution control

    Forging-shop wet scrubbers and powder-coat bag-house filters keep stack emissions inside CPCB norms, with continuous emission monitoring on critical chimneys.

  • [ECOVADIS]

    EcoVadis sustainability rating

    Annual third-party assessment across environment, labour & human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement — score and scorecard shared with OEM customers on request.

    Energy & solar transition

    Rooftop solar on three plants, LED retrofit across all sheds, and waste-heat recovery on hot-dip galvanizing kettles. Target: 30% lower kWh per kg shipped by 2028.

    Hazardous waste stewardship

    Zinc dross, paint sludge and spent acids handled only through CPCB / SPCB-authorised recyclers, with manifest and chain-of-custody recorded in SAP.
